Lake Karrinyup To Host International

LAKE Karrinyup will host the inaugural Perth International golf tournament this November.

The new event, from November 13-16, will fill the gap left by the prestigious Johnnie Walker Classic which returns to Asia this summer after two years in Western Australia.

Perth International promoter IMG said the company expected to build on the success of the previous two Johnnie Walker Classics.

IMG director of golf Jonathan Field yesterday described Lake Karrinyup as ``an ideal venue for players and spectators," demonstrated by the past two Classics.
